I’ve just added a video unit from YouTube on my home page. I wanted to include some extra content without being too intrusive, so there you have it! Each time you refresh the page you’ll get a new video from either Expert Village or Home Remodel Workshop. The videos are set up on a playlist so when you hover your mouse over the video screen, a left and right arrow show up. You can click on one of those arrows to skip ahead to another video or go back to a previous one in the list.
I’ve never used anything like this before, so I’m open to hearing feedback from you. You can leave me a comment here on the site or email me at kelli@ournewoldhouse.com to let me know if you love it, hate it, or can’t find it.
New and exciting developments coming up on my house, so visit back often!

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackBut how would one know to visit the home page without seeing this particular post? If I came to you from a later post, I wouldn’t know the videos were there.
I think overall it’s a good idea, but perhaps you should add another tab at the top called DIY Videos or something. Good luck!
Hmm, good point, S. I’ll see what I can do to have a more static link to it. Thanks for the comment!
