Dreams for my bathroom

I found a great example of what we want our bathroom to look like. It has everything! It has the pedestal sink, the bright white bead board, the cheery color, and the bright shower curtain hanging from a ring over the clawfoot tub. Below is a picture of my current bathroom, and the bathroom of our dreams, from http://www.westviewbungalow.com/.

What are you, a freakin’ mind reader? I’ve been going on and on to my friends about my first floor bathroom. White beadboard, pedestal sink, white tile (although I’m thinking about hexagonal tiles), vintage medicine cabinet, and slate blue walls. You even have the wall color right!

Great minds think alike, I guess!

Your bathroom idea has a lot of similarities to our hoped for new bathroom.
Michael started putting the bathroom back together today, so it’s pretty exciting 🙂
We originally wanted to do white subway tiles up the walls, but have opted for beadbooard for money reasons.

Wow! I was going to go with subway tile on the walls at first but then bead board seemed a little closer to my level of ability. Plus it’s cheaper. There’s just something very calming in the simplicity of Westview Bungalow’s picture. It looks so easy to keep clean too! That’s one thing I desperately want in our bathroom, is ease of cleaning. Right now that’s a big problem.
